School Workshops

Please advise us the total number of Grade 1 and 2 boys at your school so we can make sure to have enough letters to hand out to the boys.

Please speak with Grade 1 and 2 Teachers to make them aware of the scheduled booking and arrangements for boys to attend a room/space where the workshop can be held.

The beginning of recess or lunch is a good option so the boys don't lose much of their break time.

Straight after lunch or near the end of the day (last 45 minutes) may be a preferred option for teachers.

We are happy to send you a flyer for your school bulletin to advertise our visit to parents.

One of our Artistic Staff will attend your school at the scheduled time. Boys can attend the workshop as a collective group (all grade 1 boys; then all grade 2 boys) and  will only need to be away from class for about 10 minutes. Boys are introduced to their pitch-matching skills, rhythm and basic skills such as listening and following instructions.

Boys will be handed a letter to take home to their parents. Parents can then register their son for an audition at our studio on the scheduled Audition Day. These are held in early September and late October each year.

After the audition process we will send you an email advising you of the boys who have been recruited. This is usually in November.

Parents are usually notified by email within 7-10 days after the Audition. Some will be offered a place and enrolment details will be provided. Others may be asked to try again if they need a bit more time to develop their skills and learning attributes. 

Boys 9+ years are usually offered an audition if they have had previous vocal/musical training and/or experience, and are able to demonstrate these skills at the audition. If you feel there is a student who has potential and some vocal/musical training  please pass on our website details and parents can register their son if they wish.
