Every year, we bid a fond farewell to our retiring choristers. In 2016 we farewelled and congratulated 19 performing choristers as they embark on their lives post-choir. As we know, their farewell is always temporary and we anticipate inviting these fine choristers back into our community as Old Boys in the Men’s choir when the opportunity allows.

In 2016, our retiring choristers were celebrated over dinner at Columbo’s Restaurant—Tom Allen, Julian De Marco, Johnny De Simone, Matthew Deayton, Jay Dingle, Jonah Fleming, Ben Heath, Brock Heavyside, Itsuki Kashima, Aaron Lee, Ruimin Li, Victor Liew, Henry Makmur, Joseph Rako, Luke Rodrigues-Jones, Christopher Rozakeas, Nikolai Speirs-Spence, Max Young and Alex Zaskowski. It was a lovely opportunity to enjoy dinner with these retirees and parents were welcomed for thank you tea, coffee and treats afterwards. We wish you every success in your future endeavours and we look forward to seeing you back as Men in the near future.

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
