The Choir tours annually, rotating destinations including international, national, regional and local.

In their over 50 year history the Choir has visited:

  • Singing Mass at St Peter’s in Rome
  • Singing at a Papal Audience in St Peter’s Square
  • A concert with a standing ovation in Chiesa Santa Maria del Giglio in Venice
  • St Paul’s Cathedral in Munich
  • The Dom in Salzburg
  • Sacre Coeur in Paris
  • St Paul’s Cathedral in London
  • Westminster Abbey in London
  • Australia House in London
  • Disneyland, Japan and USA
  • Australian Embassy, Tokyo Japan
  • Library of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing
  • Rio Tinto stage and the Australian Pavilion Wattle Room at Expo Shanghai, China

During visits to the UK, the Choir has attended workshops with the Director of Music at
Westminster Cathedral, James O’Donnell and Composer and Choir Patron, John Rutter.

 

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
