To hear Howard Shore’s award-winning score performed live as the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring film was projected on the rear of the Hamer Hall Stage was an exciting experience for the boys – only surpassed by being part of the performance!

“ … the week was not without its challenges, however the boys still managed to pull off a truly professional performance. I am still surprised that a show schedule that would normally see most adults complaining of late nights saw the boys arrive each and every night in good spirits and ready to put on a great performance…” Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Admin.

The success of the live performance of Peter Jackson’s adaptation of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring has given the choristers another opportunity to be part of 2013’s MSO concert season. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers will be performed at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne – 7pm, Friday 12, Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 July 2013.

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
