Set in Nazi-occupied Rome, Tosca is a gripping tale of love, lust and betrayal. Opera Australia thus presented the works for its Melbourne season earlier this year. Performing chorister prefect Harry Hendel was selected for the role of the Shepherd Boy. His opening night performance was met with a gleaming review: “Placed on stage, in this production, as part of a Jewish family awaiting passage, Harry Hendel gives a sweetly haunting rendition of ‘Io de’ sospiri.’” Tosca was presented at Arts Centre Melbourne through April and May this year.

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
