As one year starts, another year has concluded; as too the many rehearsal nights and performances for a special group of Performing choristers. It’s always a sad farewell to our retiring choristers, with some having spent up to seven years singing with their cohort! We congratulated our 2017 retiring choristers for their time, dedication and unwavering commitment to their involvement in the Performing Choir with a traditional pizza dinner at Colombo’s Restaurant – Ryan C, Joshua C, Justin C, Jaidan D, William F, Christopher K, Graeson K, Nathan L, Samuel M, James M, Liam M, Henry S, Joshua T, Jamie Tand Harry Z. Also, we thanked their families for their commitment to Choir too, whether ferrying choristers to rehearsal, participating in fundraisers or spending a few hours volunteering in NBCA’s parent groups. The NBCA knows that these goodbyes are only short-lived as we look forward to welcoming our retirees back in the Men’s choir for the annual Christmas concert. Christmas 2018 will arrive before we know it.

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
