We began Term 4 last year with some lovely news. Old Boy Paul Van Der Tooren (1998-2001) and chorister Elysia Simons (from the Australian Girls Choir) who met while filming the Qantas I Still Call Australia Home advertisements became engaged. The marriage proposal featured on Channel 9’s series Ready For Takeoff and was covered by The Age and Woman’s Day. The pair then married in mid-January at Riverstone Winery in the Yarra Valley. The nuptials even featured on the Daily Mail website in the UK, complete with gorgeous wedding photos! Congratulations to these special newlyweds.
