We are delighted to announce that Judy Hooper has won the Woodside Better Business Award (awarded to a business person who has worked in partnership with an Arts organisation or artistic project, contributing substantially with time and effort) in AbaF’s Victorian Awards presentations.   This award acknowledges Judy’s long-term commitment to the Choir, and framed certificates were presented to Judy and Colin Seedy (who attended the function representing our Board).   It is indeed an honour for Judy and the Choir to receive this award in the company of wonderful artists and arts companies from around the state.   As the Victorian winner, Judy will now be one of the nominees for the national awards.   These will be awarded in Perth at a major function next month.   AbaF will also produce a Gold Book publication with details of all state and national prize winners.   We congratulate Judy, and we thank all parents who have assisted Judy on many and varied fundraising projects. You should all take pride in this award as well! Further details can be found at AbaF Awards

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
