NBCA is a not for profit organisation and yes, we are selfconfessed fundraisers. Fundraising has provided the choristers with reverse cycle air conditioning, ergonomic chairs and a new piano to name a few things – these items are outside of general revenue but offer an element of comfort to the boys.
On Saturday 22 August the biennial Auction Dinner was held at Federation Estate in Ringwood. What better way to warm the heart and soul in those chilly winter months than with a good old fashioned Fundraising Auction Dinner. No fossil fuel was required, for the heat in the bidding of both the silent and live auctions – at the behest of Tim Heavyside (Fletcher’s Canterbury) – kept the room buzzing and the dollars mounting.
