The NBCA is proud to have had numerous Performing choristers perform in some of Melbourne’s acclaimed operas and productions during 2017. The NBCA were part of three performances with Melbourne Opera and Opera Australia in term 3 alone. Come Christmas time, selected NBCA Performing Choir choristers were given the nod to perform in Morning Melodies at Arts Centre Melbourne and The Snowman for Melbourne Recital Centre. One can only imagine the workload these choristers are committed to, in particular for the second half of the year. Christmas is a particularly exciting time to be a performing chorister. The unique performance opportunities offered give choristers the chance to work hard for selection so they can perform outside the realm of NBCA’s own two major concerts.
The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
