We can always rely on Melbourne to turn on some magic autumn weather —and we weren’t disappointed in March for the NBCA Fun Run/Walk at Gardiner’s Creek Reserve in Burwood. Thank you to all families who joined us for a little bit of fun raising funds for the NBCA. We wouldn’t have had a seamlessly-run day without the dedication of our helpers—the NBCA Board members and staff who donned cossies and flew, drove or simply appeared to assist with any small tasks required, be it transport, muscle power, sizzling sausages or simply manning the water station.
Of course, thank you to our Marshalls on the day. And finally, to those people who assisted with the clean-up and ferrying bits and pieces back to their cars. Well done to everyone. A truly super-family day out!
The Fun Run/Walk is not essentially a race; however the NBCA always has a group who like to challenge themselves. Well done to the ten choristers in the Performing Choir who finished in the top ten group of runners. A stellar effort!
