The F1 engines may have been modified to reduce the high pitch squealing that is associated with these cars, but ear plugs were still required as the Qantas A380 performed a very low level fly over and the Roulettes, the Royal Australian Air Force Aerobatic Team, performed their breathtaking display.
The RAAF F/A18 jet shook the ground as it raced by, and Arnold Schwarzenegger was introduced to Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo just prior to the Choir singing the National Anthem.
