The Grand Prix has been surrounded by controversy over recent years – should Melbourne and the State Government continue supporting such a costly and heavily subsidised sporting event? But one thing remains certain – the boys love to get a ticket for this gig. A small group of boys joined Ricki Lee Coulter on the Grid before the start of the Australian Formula 1 to sing the national anthem – a capella – a brave move considering the noise of the F1 cars!
The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
