The boys will visit a working Performing Choir rehearsal. An opportunity for the boys to meet staff and boys of the Performing Choir and to observe a ‘working rehearsal’. They get to have a sing too – the Junior Choir will join the Performing Choir on stage for the Christmas Concert and this is their rehearsal opportunity.
As previously advertised the evening of Friday 30 November has been set aside for the Junior Choir to visit the Performing Choir. The Junior choristers are introduced to the staff and are able to observe a working rehearsal. This will hopefully make the transition next year from Junior to Performing chorister a little more comfortable for the boys. They will also have a sing – the Junior choir will be part of the Christmas Concert finale at Hamer Hall this year, and the visit gives them an opportunity to practice with the older boys.
