WARDROBE/PRESENTATION

The Choir encourages the boys to take pride in their appearance and uniform, particularly when they are representing the Choir in a public space.

We take care to ensure the uniform fits well and shoes are shined etc. With this in mind can you pleeeeease introduce your boys to a brush or comb before the concert?

The boys use their eyes for expression when singing, but the Staff often has difficulty seeing some of their gorgeous peepers behind a hedge of hair! 

Don’t forget to redeem your chorister’s complimentary ticket – they’ll be joining you in the second half!

Mrs Connellan would like to remind all boys of their Christmas Concert/Morning Melodies wardrobe requirements – Robes and Robe bags have now been issued.   For those new to this garment, it will need to be hemmed by hand to suit your son.  Don’t leave it too late… there is more fabric than you think hiding in the folds!

Boys will also need to provide as part of their Christmas stagewear:

  • medium length white socks
  • white (preferably) V-neck T-Shirt to be worn under the robes
  • white jiffies (or jets) – Mrs Connellan has a small supply of these for sale

And while we are giving out reminders – black belt to be worn with the streetwear uniform and black socks to be worn with black lace up shoes

Details on how to redeem your complimentary ticket will be available at your first rehearsal – Sunday 11 November
