This is an exciting performance opportunity for the Junior choristers, their first gig J –  Ms Brook, Miss Ferwerda and Mr Taylor have every confidence the boys will do the National Boys Choir of Australia proud as they sing under the Choir banner. Parents, you can help with this by ensuring ALL boys know and are confident with the repertoire

Arrive                    11.45am

Where                  Melbourne Showgrounds (Grand Pavilion, Building 7)

Enter via Gate 5, Langs Road, Ascot Vale 3032

Turn left and follow the road. The Grand Pavilion is on the right (looks like a Giant Circus Tent – here’s a link to the site map)

Note: Proceed to the nearest open gate if Gate 5 is closed. Onsite parking staff will direct you.

Meet                     At the left hand side of the main stage – there will be a NBCA staff member to walk you to the green room

Wear                     Black performance trousers, red t-shirt with stars, black belt, black socks, black polished shoes (no runners or canvas shoes, please!)

New update: please bring a Santa’s hat to wear for this performance!

Calico bags have already gone home with boys containing:

  • 1 x pair of black trousers (for this gig and the NBCA Christmas Concert)
  • 1 x red t-shirt with stars (for this gig only)
  • 1 x white shirt (for the NBCA Christmas Concert only)

Only this red t- shirt will need to be returned back to the NBCA at rehearsal on Wednesday December 11. Please DO NOT wash the red t-shirt as the colour can run! Wardrobe will wash.

Bring                      A named water bottle, a ‘bag’ full of enthusiasm and a smile to rival Luna Park!

Depart                  1.15 (ish) pm

This is a special private Christmas function for invited guests only. Choir families are welcome to stay at front of stage and watch the Junior Choir perform.   

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
