Wednesday’s update was delayed due to not having Internet access. However, the boys certainly had an enjoyable day and left their audiences with lasting memories of their performances. The day began as usual with staff meeting the boys and their host families before boarding the coach. Our first stop was Larmemia  Catholic Primary school where the boys put on an interactive concert involving the children from Preparatory to Year Six in some fun games and singing before the boys performed excerpts from their concert repertoire. Then it was back on the bus for the two and a half hour drive to Orford for the usual sound check and rehearsal at the concert venue before travelling to our hotel for check in and a delicious dinner. The boys performed to a packed hall with many people travelling up to two hours to get there. The concert concluded with the boys singing the iconic I Still Call Australia Home and a rousing standing ovation from a delighted audience. Then it was time to change, pack up the props, load the bus and return to the hotel for a good night’s sleep in preparation for another busy day.posterboy breakfast

The National Boys Choir of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and work. We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
