The Annual Fun Run/Walk has become a popular event on the NBCA calendar. First held in 2007, it has established itself as a regular fundraising activity. It is not a race. We encourage families, friends, rellies – and the family pets – to join us at Gardiners Creek Reserve, Burwood to run, walk or stroll the 4km course. It’s a wonderful outdoor activity (which dispels the myth of choir boys being closeted away in the cloisters of the cathedral!) and brings out the hidden athleticism of the boys. Over the past few years, the Fun Run/Walk has raised sufficient funds to install reverse cycle air-conditioning in the Bird and Casey studios, the small meeting room and more recently the reception foyer. We congratulate the Choir Community for their support of all our fundraising activities.
