The National Boys Choir of Australia to host The Colorado Children’s Chorale in Melbourne for one night only

The National Boys Choir Australia will be hosting The Colorado Children’s Chorale for a one-night performance in Melbourne at George Wood Performing Arts Centre, Yarra Valley School Croydon on Friday, March 24.

The Colorado Children’s Chorale is located in the ‘mile high city’ of Denver, Colorado, a city found near the centre of the United States. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Deborah DeSantis and Executive Director Meg Steitz, the Colorado Children’s Chorale annually trains 500 members between the ages of 7 and 14 from all ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds representing more than 180 schools in the Denver metro area and beyond.

Since its founding in 1974, the Chorale has sung countless performances with some of the world’s finest performing arts organisations and has appeared with world-renowned artists Placido Domingo, Zubin Mehta, James Levine and Richard Hickox. The Colorado Children’s Chorale has also performed for numerous dignitaries, including Pope John Paul II and the Dalai Lama, as well as presidents, emperors and first ladies of the world.
